March 2023 saw the launch by the Supreme Council for Women of the Parliamentary Toolkit, which provides guidance for parliamentarians and staff to integrate gender balance and women's empowerment through all aspects of parliamentary process, with the aim of enhancing capacity to develop and adopt policies and regulatory frameworks that strengthen conditions for gender-responsive economic diversification, employment creation, rule of law and increased resilience and innovation.
