World Bank Income Classification:Low Income
The World Bank classifies economies for analytical purposes into four income groups: low, lower-middle, upper-middle, and high income. For this purpose it uses gross national income (GNI) per capita data in U.S. dollars, converted from local currency using the World Bank Atlas method, which is applied to smooth exchange rate fluctuations.

By 2024, vulnerable people have improved access to social welfare services, including in humanitarian context.
Vulnerable communities have access to information on basic social services, especially those facing multiple forms of intersecting discrimination. 1,000 women and vulnerable children from Bamako, Sikasso, Ségou, Bougouni and Koutiala reinforced their knowledge of GBV and menstrual hygiene management. They were provided with menstrual management kits and knowledge of the various means of contraception and prevention against sexually transmitted infections.Disclaimer and notes
