World Bank Income Classification:Low Income
The World Bank classifies economies for analytical purposes into four income groups: low, lower-middle, upper-middle, and high income. For this purpose it uses gross national income (GNI) per capita data in U.S. dollars, converted from local currency using the World Bank Atlas method, which is applied to smooth exchange rate fluctuations.

Under the WPS program with PBFSO support through : Leveraging community participation in local governance for effective conflict prevention and resolution in the Littoral and West regions affected by the North-West and South West crisis in Cameroon project, at urban and rural areas hosting IDPs in the Littoral and West regions,UNWOMEN and other partners contributed to make sure that IDPs and host communities benefit directly and indierctly: Direct : 25 000 IDPs and host communities (40% host and 60% IDPs. Among these groups: 60% of young boy and girls, 25% of women, and 15% of men adults).
