Women and girls affected by the conflict access protection and economic opportunities
Women and girls affected by the conflict can access protection and economic opportunities to rebuild their lives, livelihood s and communities. UN Women will ensure that women savings clubs/cooperatives are established, and work to transform social norms to promote women's human rights to prevent violence against women and girls, and support survivors of sexual and gender based violence to access comprehensive, multi-sectoral essential services.

Women and girls affected by the conflict access protection and economic opportunities
During the reporting period the CO supported with provision of social protection support to women and girls affected by conflict in Bentiu. 763 female victims of GBV were referred of which, 92 for medical assistance and 671 for psychosocial support services. Out of the 763 female GBV victims, 612 were survivors of intimate partner violence, 97 victims of rape, and 54 survivors of forced marriage. Most of these survivors were referred by the community champions, community leaders and some were self-referrals.Disclaimer and notes
