On going support was provided to the government of South Sudan to implement the CEDAW actions and follow on work from the CEDAW report submitted in 2022. UN Women supported the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Welfare to hold a three days consultative meetings on CEDAW country report and to respond to the questions raised by the CEDAW committee in Geneva. In addition, the CO supported the second generation of the South Sudan National Action Plan for UNSCR1325.Disclaimer and notes
