The World Bank classifies economies for analytical purposes into four income groups: low, lower-middle, upper-middle, and high income. For this purpose it uses gross national income (GNI) per capita data in U.S. dollars, converted from local currency using the World Bank Atlas method, which is applied to smooth exchange rate fluctuations.

Improved management of financial and human resources in pursuit of results
UN Women Country Office in Mexico´s standards of security wre fully, thanks to the implementation of information security standards and training activities. The staff knows how to promote security of institutional information. During 2022, 7 of UN Women partners in Mexico had an audit exercise; financial and control recommendations were given to 4 of them, and follow-up activities were planned and implemented. This year a training on Internal Control Framework (ICF) to reinforce knowledge of this topic and effective ways to apply this framework. UN Security Standards were on track during 2022, thanks to collaboration with Department of Safety and Security (UNDSS) in Mexico.Showing 11 - 11 of 11
