Outcome 5: Women participate in and inform decision-making processes & responses related to conflict prevention, protection and peacebuilding in Niger
In an increasingly dynamic security context that requires appropriate responses at different levels (local, national and cross-border), this outcome aims to support women in order to play a decisive role in preserving peace and social cohesion in their communities. Similarly, this election year offers the opportunity to improve women's political participation in a sustainable way as candidates, voters but also actors of the smooth running of the different elections. This involves sensibilization and training activities, as well as diversifying the roles of already trained women, including community mediators, to invest other roles at higher levels of intervention
