Assuring an accountable organization through principled performance
The Office participated fully in the UNSDCF development process to ensure effective gender mainstreaming in all processes. In addition, the Office developed its strategy note during the course of the report in accordance with available guidance. The Office also supported the UNCT SWAP.
The Office ensured continuous monitoring through periodic visits to project implementation sites, regular meetings with implementing partners and reviews of financial and narrative reports. Donor reports and quarterly and annual progress reports will be prepared on a regular basis by the Office's program officers and overseen by WCARO's reporting teams. Monitoring was conducted in the context of the fuel shortage. Monitoring and evaluation was supported by UNW's reporting on results.
