Workforce management The RO is committed to further streamlining its recruitment processes to ensure the timely mobilization of talent needed to drive results and achieve its strategic objectives. In fact the average time for recruitment in 2024 was 21.24 weeks. RO is expecting higher number for 2025. New mechanisms will be put in place to meet the corporate KPI. Successfully transitioned 225 service contractors to the UNDP Personnel Services Agreement (PSA) modality — streamlining contract structures, clarifying employment conditions, and fostering greater transparency between staff and the institution. Performance & Compliance Delivered a structured performance cycle encompassing goal setting, mid-year reviews, and development discussions. RO has achieved 89.96% compliance for the 2024 performance assessment cycle. 2025 data are not available Reached 80% completion for mandatory staff training requirements. Strategic Planning 2 Country Office Strategic Notes approved, plus the RO Strategic Note — providing a strong institutional planning foundation across the region. I nclusive & Respectful Workplace Allocated a $30,000 budget for learning and development, reinforcing investment in staff growth for 26 staff. Reinforced mental health and wellbeing initiatives and fully implemented flexible working arrangements. Established regular communication mechanisms including townhalls and monthly exchange sessions with HR and Operations specialists. Strengthened staff mental health and Well-being support by expanding access to mental health resources, counselling services, and well-being programs for all staff (outsides activities and online sensitization sessions), recognizing that a truly inclusive workplace must also address psychological safety and emotional well-being as core pillars of an empowered workforce.

Activities related to staff members empowerment are on going: 360 feedback and coaching are completed. PMD is completed for 2021 and goals are entered for 2022. 2022 evaluation will be completed until April 2023. Recruitemens are closely monitored. Training plan 2022 is completed and implemented.
