    Outcome insights and achievements

Outcome progress note for the year

OEE Output 4. Empowered workforce embodying UN values

In 2025, UN Women Bolivia strengthened workforce empowerment, accountability, and compliance, reinforcing an inclusive, engaged, and values-driven organisational culture. Consistent investment in staff development, ethical standards, communication, and performance management contributed to a more cohesive, capable, and supported team environment. To sustain engagement and internal communication, the Country Office convened over 15 all-staff meetings throughout the year, fostering collaboration, assertive communication, and alignment between Programmes and Operations. While no country-level staff perception survey was conducted during the reporting period, plans are in place to coordinate with the Regional Office and Headquarters to implement the survey in 2026, ensuring evidence-based workforce engagement and continuous improvement. Accountability for performance management remained strong. The Country Office achieved 100% timely completion of Performance Management and Development (PMD) processes, reinforcing a culture of accountability, professional growth, and performance dialogue across the workforce. Capacity strengthening and corporate compliance were also upheld, with 100% of staff completing mandatory trainings, contributing to continuous learning and organisational readiness. Ethical standards and duty of care were further consolidated. UN Women Bolivia achieved 100% compliance with the annual certification on Prohibited Conduct, including Harassment, Sexual Harassment, Discrimination, and Abuse of Authority—affirming its commitment to integrity, protection, and a respectful workplace. Beyond this, the Office actively contributed to UN Country Team (UNCT) and Programme Management Team (PMT) mechanisms and engaged in HR and PSEA learning initiatives. An internal PSEA awareness session was also conducted, strengthening understanding of reporting pathways and reinforcing accountability culture. Overall, these achievements demonstrate that UN Women Bolivia advanced a workforce that is empowered, engaged, and aligned with UN values, strengthening organisational integrity, staff well-being, and readiness to deliver on UN Women’s mandate.
