Increased engagement of partners in support of UN-Women’s mandate

An important achievement of the UN Women Office was the update of the BCCMA Chile and Everbridge. This will allow security processes to be standardized and professionalized. Until now we used a manual procedure, not interconnected with global procedures. Additionally, 2 satellite phones have been enabled in case of emergencies. 80% of the staff has completed the mandatory courses and regarding the hiring processes, selection times have been considerably reduced. A roadmap was prepared with those responsible and deadlines, as well as predetermined evaluation committees were formed to reduce appointment times.
