These two key actors are found in the structure of value chain from top to bottom, taking into account production, harvest and food processing phases and taking into consideration the new challenges of the markets related to Innovation and Technology. Therefore, UN Women signed a MOU with ADIH to reinforce the collaboration between the rural women in agribusiness and Private sector entities. Through this protocole, UN Women will explore business contracts between the parties with a focus on e-Commerce. On the other hand, UN Women has started discussions with the association of Madan Sara for their reinforcement to facilitate negociations with the Private Sector and support the organisation developpement.

Haiti Country Office achieved relevant milestones to offer women innovative solutions and promote rural women´s economic empowerment however, it was not possible to advance on this specific activity due to Haiti socio-political, economic and health crisis and generalized violence context. The Country Office will assess priorities and the possibility to move this activity forward on 2023.
