The Country office continued to emphasize on these measures to meet UN Women Standards and keep the good work in leveraging and managing resources. Due to this improvement, the country office has reached an overall utilization rate of 97% (including commitments and advances to partners) despite all 2021 challenges. Finally, a joint project on Mental health issue totaling 1.5 M USD over 18 months to be implemented with WHO/PAHO (613,333.80 USD) was approved by the Peace-Building Fuds and implementation will start early in 2022 and Norway funds, a 3.3 millions-dollar project on WEE realted to thesecond phase of Women in agriculture’s project was submitted and approved. This resource mobilization effort will significantly expand the office portfolio helping to fill the budget gap of the 2022 Annual Plan and intends to prepare the portfolio for the upcoming strategic Note. The Country Office will continue pro-actively to propose and take the lead in developing joint programming. One being discussed is about second chance education for young women and girls with IDB. To leverage and manage resources

Over the past year, we have significantly expanded the resource base of our program in Haiti, including new partners such as the European Union, etc. We have also secured more diverse funding, including from WPHF, to better address evolving needs on the ground. The program management capacity has also been strengthened to ensure effective implementation as activities develop. We estimate that we have achieved between 75 and 85% of our resource mobilization and management strengthening goals for this strategic period. With increasing momentum, we are on track to meet or exceed these objectives, allowing us to fully respond to the growing demands of programming aimed at promoting gender equality in Haiti.
