    Advancing business transformation for high level innovation, impact and knowledge management

    During the reporting period, the Nigeria CO organized a lessons and knowledge sharing workshop that brough together leaders of women-led organizations working on promoting the participation of women and girls affected by the conflict and climate change in the Lake Chad Basin area. The event, which was organized in Abuja, brough together30 women leaders from the three worst affected states in Northeast Nigeria and their counterparts in Cameroun. It was jointly facilitated by the Nigeria CO and the UN Women Regional Office for West and Central Africa (WCARO). Also, the Nigeria Country Office participated in knowledge sharing events around the involvement of traditional and religious leaders organized by the UN Women Special Representative to the African Union, the WCARO, the ESARO, and the Cameroun Country Office.

    High quality of programs through knowledge, innovation, results-based management and evaluations

    Two major evaluations have taken place in the reporting period: the mid-term review of the Security Sector project and the final evaluation of the WPS Programme. The two evaluations have informed the preparation of new programmes submitted and funded by respective donors.
