During 2021, UN Women generated the following Knowledge Products to feed into programming and to inform partners on the gender status in Palestine: The Gender Alert (2021): A Multisectoral Gender Analysis to Inform the 2022 Humanitarian Programme Cycle in the oPt; The “Gender-Sensitive Resilience Capacity Index: Gender-Responsive Management and Response to the COVID-19 Pandemic in the Arab States Region: From Emergency Response to Recovery and Resilience – Palestine”; a Guidance Note on Gender Responsive Cash and Voucher Assistance in the Occupied Palestinian Territory; The “Gender and Wars in Gaza Untangled: What Past Wars Have Taught Us?” report. · Impact of COVID-19 on pregnant and lactating women in the Occupied Palestinian Territory · Clinical Management of Rape in the State of Palestine in the Framework of COVID-19 · A Feminist Economic Analysis on the Impact of COVID-19 in the Palestinian Economy – Executive Summary The above knowledge products informed the 2022 Humanitarian Response Plan and the UN System Socio Economic Response Plan to COVID 19 and were used to support evidence-based policy for improving services during the emergency. In 2021, UN PALCO completed the Final Evaluation for the UN Women – OCHA Joint Action Plan. The evaluation will feed into the development of the next cycle of the joint action plan. In 2021, UN Women PALCO ensured that all responsible parties are equipped with the knowledge and the skills on results-based management to ensure a collective focus on intended results and proper collection and use of monitoring data. Monitoring and Evaluation framework for the AWP was prepared identifying responsible parties for collecting and disseminating data in a timely manner to ensure effective use of the data and capturing lessons learned for improving the implementation of the different interventions. All Responsible Parties participated in a M&E Workshop were the concepts of RBM was reviewed and the M&E requirements were introduced. This output was not achieved based on teh indicators on exchanges. As no exchanges promoting new ways of working were held per see. However, exhcanges of knowledge and information (such as on women's rights, ending violence against women, women's economic empowement, etc.) were held throughout the life cycle. These exchanges are evidenced with supported documents attached.
