In 2023, a police unit that has strengthened the availability of gender data through the conduct of several studies and research to improve decision-making. 13 studies were conducted with reports . 3 reviews have been finalized and the recommendations made from these reviews will serve as a basis for planning the implementation of future projects and programmes of the Office At the level of monitoring and evaluation, fours baseline studies for new projects, and two databases of new beneficiaries of these projects. To welle monitoring of parteners More than 15 staff from partner NGOs have been trained on UN Women's monitoring and reporting process and now have a better understanding of management and reporting on results.

In terms of contract diversity and security, the office increased the number of FTA and TA SC contracts, including 5 new ones (TA FTA), one of which is international, to strengthen technical expertise within the Niger office. In 2024, the office benefited from staff support dedicated to HR, which facilitated the monitoring of the individual performance of FTA, TA, SC and UNV colleagues. The support also made it possible to be more efficient in the processes of recruiting new staff and renewing contracts on time. A capacity-building mechanism for staff is underway, particularly with regard to proxy courses and training opportunities with the regional office. An effort must be made to support colleagues in managing their careers, and in building specific technical skills according to the profile of each staff member.
