In 2022, results attainment (4) achieved double the milestone (2). This was a result of joint effort from UNFPA, UNDP, UN Women and other stakeholders to provide dedicated support to countries developing national frameworks on youth, peace and security. As this is a common indicator with UNDP and UNFPA, the ambition is to jointly support more countries towards the adoption and implementation of youth, peace and security frameworks in coming years, and to also accompany the development and implementation of regional or subregional roadmaps. In 2022, the youth peace and security focal points of UNDP, UNFPA and UN Women, launched a global survey to identify priority areas for strengthening the organizational readiness to support development and implementation of youth, peace and security frameworks. In 2023, we therefore expect that a growing number of countries will endorse national frameworks on youth, peace and security.
