Outcome progress note for the year
Advancing business transformation.
Over the past year, the UN Women Chile Office has moved closer to formal legal recognition as a country office, with final approval awaiting Congress. The office has exceeded required standards for staffing and funding, including a UN Women Representative, a Programme and Policy Specialist, an Operations Manager, five Programme Managers, and a Procurement Specialist, among other local staff. It also surpassed its annual revenue goal of USD 1.8 million. These results have strengthened the office’s ability to fulfill its mandate and support partnerships, resource mobilization, and business transformation in the region.
Advancing business transformation.
The UNW Chile office is meeting corporate minimum requirements for resource growth. For 2025 and 2026, it will be necessary to double efforts to increase resource mobilization in order to meet the estimated target. Additionally, efforts will be made to achieve a higher amount that will enable the transition between this Strategic Note and the next.
