By 2028, inclusive and transparent public policies will enable people to become more resilient and gain equitable access to natural resources and public services. (UNSDCF Outcome 3).
Inclusive and transparent public policies, when well designed and implemented, can effectively enable people to be more resilient and gain equitable access to natural resources and public services. Transparency and inclusiveness of decisions will lead to better management of resources, fairer distribution of services and better preparation for future challenges. The support of UN Women with its partners and UNCT to provide a national action plan to promote the presence and leadership of women in public bodies at the national and local levels, support for Senegal's participation in the meeting of WPS focal points for capacity building, capacity building of actors at the local level for women's participation in the promotion of peace and fight against violence, support for the Women Count programme for gender statistics contribute significantly to the achievement of the outcome.
