Principled Performance
Significant progress has been made during the reporting period 2023. We have ensured high effectiveness and the efficiency of the country office in running its operational and programmatic activities to implement the annual work 2023. The country office has received new workforce in the area of EVAW (Programme Officer-ending violence against Women and girls in Zanzibar), WLER (1finance analyst, 3 Programm analyst, and 2 Programme associates), WEE (climate expert, blue and green economy expert), WPS (international consultant on Women Peace and Security and Governance). TCO with collaboration with HQ and RO conducted capacity building training on end user application on new Enterprise Resources Planning (Quantum ERP) for operations and Programme staff, the training which has facilitated magnitute effectivess and efficiency of our country office operations.
Principled Performance
UN Women TCO continues to manage its financial and other resources prudently and in line with its programmatic ambitions and fiduciary obligations. There's been a drop in delivery rate compared to 2024 attributed by the ongoing liquidation and closure of one of our biggest projects (in addition to the ongoing exercise on year end closure) as well as the clearance of a few payroll errors. The country office continues to be compliant and upto date with the Enterprise Risk Management policy and framework requirements as well as the Business continuity and OSHA requirements.
