    Outcome insights and achievements

Outcome progress note for the year

    Advancing business transformation:

In line with the Secretary-General's recommendation for the UN common premises and aligned to the UN Women corporate strategy, UN Women Somalia Office worked closely with the UN partners in construction of a secure, cost efficient hard wall office building in UNSOS phase 6 premises with a total cost of approx.100K. UNW Somalia Programme office have fully moved to the common premises jointly occupied by (UNFPA, UNW, UNCDF and UNOCHA) at UNSOS on the first quarter of 2024. However, due to the office expansion and recruitment of more staff, there is need of more space to be procurement/constructed. There is possibility of getting more spare from UNFPA, UNW Somalia has engaged UNFPA management to allocate additional space (141.56M2) 1) As built DRW of UNCT office at phase 6 in MIA-UN-WOMEN.pdf 2) RE First Draft of Common Service MOU - Review and Meeting Request_HQ Legal clear... 3) RE_ Swapping - UNW office to Next office UNSOS_phase 6.msg 4) Memo_Additional Office Space_UNW Somalia_Oct2024.pdf
