    By 2029, all people in Bahrain benefit from sustainable livelihoods and decent work in a modernized, knowledge-based, digital, green, diversified, inclusive and resilient economy, supported by robust international partnerships (DRAFT UNSDCF Outcome 2)

    UN Women's contribution to this Outcome is on-track. The Princess Sabeeka Bint Ibrahim Al-Khalifa Global Award for Women's Empowerment recognises and increases knowledge on global best practices for the achievement of SDG 5 and Agenda 2030, in line with national development priorities. The Gobal Award application persiod was launched in March 2025 during the Commission on the Status of Women in UN Headquarters, and the winners will be announced in December 2026.
