    Effective normative, programmatic and coordination products, services and processes

    The Output cluster is considered achieved as UN Women developed effective normative, programmatic, and coordination products and lead processes in the reporting period, and targets achieved. In the reporting period, UN Women maintained very visible focus on gender equality and wome's empowerementthrough various discussions and events. The Office produced and/or contributed to various knowledge products and visibility materials, such as sectoral gap analysis, research products - mapping of those left behind, Common Country Analyses and similar. The Head of Office co-chairs the Human Rights/Gender Thematic Group with eth OHCHR. UN Country Team and the Resident Coordinator and her Office in North Macedonia, receive regular guidence/inputs from UN Women, to encourage gender mainstreaming through various processes including joint WPs, UNCT SWAP Gender Equality Scorecard and similar. UN women organized Retreat for the GTG with support by the RC. Beside it's programmatic work in various portfolios, UN Women initiated under its core programmatic/normative functions, joint work on women in diplomacy with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in partnership with the French Embasy and teh French MFA. This resulted North Macedonia to be selected as one of the 12 countries worldwide, for the possibility to receive a French Expert, posteed in UN Women Office and funded by France. National MFA committed to annual marking of the UN DAy on Women in Diplomacy and will work on gender parity and revision of teh curricula of teh Diplomacy Academy.

    Effective normative, programmatic and coordination products, services and processes

    During the reporting period, UN-Women delivered effective normative, programmatic and coordination products and services, contributing to strengthened national and UN system capacity to advance gender equality and women’s empowerment. Strategic partnerships were maintained and expanded, resulting in improved collaboration with government institutions, UN agencies, civil society, academia, and development partners. UN-Women’s support to high-visibility advocacy and policy platforms, including 1st Expo in North Macedonia, conferences with high officials such as the President of teh Country, teh Prime Minsiter and several ministers/mayors, then dialogues on Beijing+30 jubilee, 1325+25 and Women, Peace and Security (WPS ) , and 25 years jubilee gender statistics, enhanced stakeholder awareness and policy engagement. These platforms contributed to the advancement of normative commitment s and supported the use of gender data and evidence in policy discussions and planning processes. At the coordination level, UN-Women provided t echnical leadership and coordination suppor t that resulted in the mainstreaming of gender equality priorities within the UNSDC F , including the achievement of a gender-responsive UNSDCF framework. which is informed by the GE Theory of Change developed by the GTG under the leadership of UNW. In addition, UN-Women’s leadership in GTG and UN-SWAP reporting strengthened system-wide accountability, coherence, and compliance with gender equality standards. Overall, these results demonstrate improved effectiveness, relevance, and coherence of UN-Women’s normative guidance, programmatic support, and coordination functions in alignment with global commitments and national priorities.
