All the indicators related to this Output have been fully achieved. A key indicator is the percentage of UN-Women offices achieving DPC and Cost Recovery targets . This year, UNW Burundi CO met its targets, demonstrating the organization’s efficient resource management and ability to meet financial objectives while delivering on programmatic goals. Additionally, UN-Women has fostered innovation and cross-regional collaboration through numerous cross-regional knowledge exchange initiatives . These initiatives have promoted the sharing of promising practices and approaches to gender equality.

In 2025, UN Women Burundi strengthened its business model through strategic planning and continuous improvement, ensuring programs delivered maximum impact. The Office advanced the adoption of the new PRISM system and supported new staff through Quantum learning initiatives, reinforcing UN Women’s transformation and culture of continuous learning. Agile and ethical leadership enabled timely adaptation to evolving contexts, while lessons from monitoring and evaluation improved efficiency, effectiveness, and accountability. These efforts enhanced UN Women Burundi’s capacity to deliver transformative results at scale, advancing gender equality and women’s empowerment.
