Business Transformation
Tanzania Country Office - 2024 Annual Report Update In 2024, the Tanzania Country Office continued to leverage best practices established in previous years, particularly through the adoption of the new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, Quantum. Quantum replaced the former ERP, Atlas, and has significantly enhanced financial and donor reporting by providing real-time processing capabilities. This system has streamlined operations, improved accuracy, and increased efficiency in management and reporting processes. Additionally, the office further optimized the use of the UNall travel module, which transitioned the preparation of official missions and travel requests from a paper-based approach to a fully systemized process. UNall has continued to transform travel management by improving timelines and simplifying the process from travel requests to bank transactions and approvals. Both Quantum and UNall have reinforced operational efficiency, ensuring transactions and requests are processed more quickly and accurately, reflecting the office’s commitment to continuous improvement in systems and practices.

Business Transformation
TCO continues to leverage best practices established in previous years, through Quantum and PRISM which is a new platform designed to provide the link between SN reporting, Quantum as well as Enterprise Risk Management reporting. PRISM continues to gradually be implemented globally and it's aimed to enhance operations, improve accuracy, and increased efficiency in management and reporting processes. This is in an endevour to improve knowledge management and innovation, so TCO will move standardized knowledge products in support of more efficient and effective delivery of programmatic results. Additionally, as part of our move to evolve towards a more contemporary, climate conscious and agile organization, during the time of Tanzania's civil unrest in the 2025, we exercised flexible work modality in response to the crisis and ensuring the security of our team.
