Assuring an accountable organization through principled performance: UN-Women SAMCO is an accountable and trustworthy development organization that manages its financial and other resources with integrity and in line with its programmatic ambitions and fiduciary obligations

Quantum implementation contributed to delays in achieving the desired goals for delivery. Even though the allocations were provided for, however the Organisational challenges relating to payroll expenditures not being regulary posted against the projects contributed negatively to determine a accurate expnditure and delivery of the office. Even though this was resolved with traning from HQ, the inability to issue certified financial statements affected reportings to donors. Audit Management and Accountibility was a signicant area where the MCO made signifacnt progress both in reporting and closure. MCO noted this and ensure that a capacity building training was conducted for all partners to ensure that this goal is maintained.

MCO made some progress in relation to Cost Recovery. The Resource Mobilisation from Debeers and Irish Aid contributed to an increased EXB funding to be carried over in Y2024.

MCO attained 80% towards the completion of mandatory courses

Effective normative, programmatic and coordination products, services and processes: UN-Women efficiently and effectively discharges of all business processes that advance integrated delivery of its mandate at HQ, Regional and Country levels, including through shared services.

During this period SAMCO focused on building team work. A staff retreate was planned and conducted to improve team moral and to improve effecctiveness.
