    Outcome insights and achievements

Outcome progress note for the year

Nurturing an empowered workforce and advancing an inclusive UN-Women culture

The CO team took ownership of the office space, and together with the team building actions and the OIC missions, generated an increase in attendance and fostered teamwork, interdisciplinary and inter-task work with the consequent strengthening of personal and work bonds and learning. It was also agreed to organize and respect more the time of colleagues with care responsibilities and lunch schedules. These improvements helped to promote a better balance between people's work and personal lives, helping to reduce some of the stress and achieve a more equitable distribution of work.

Nurturing an empowered workforce and advancing an inclusive UN-Women culture

The CO team has taken ownership of the office space, using team-building activities and OIC missions to boost in-person attendance and foster collaboration across disciplines and tasks. Based on the 2024 results, the office is gathering insights to plan improvements ahead of the February 2025 Kick-Off. This initiative aims to strengthen the team’s capacity to maintain a healthy, diverse, and inclusive workplace, promoting a respectful environment and improving work-life balance.

Nurturing an empowered workforce and advancing an inclusive UN-Women culture

The UN Women Country Office strengthened its workforce by enhancing team knowledge in operational areas—including fraud and risk management, budget analysis and control, monitoring, accessibility for persons with disabilities and new models of resource mobilization and fundraising.
