Argentina's visibility is noteworthy in its role as the country presiding the Regional Conference on Women for Latin America and the Caribbean and the Vice Presidency of the Social and Legal Commission for Women on behalf of Group of Latin America and the Caribbean (GRULAC)

These actions contributed to the regulation of article 179 of the labour contract law which obliges the employer sector to provide childcare facilities in companies with more than 100 employees. Also UN UN Women contributed to the drafting of the bill Creation of the integral system of care policies of Argentina (SINCA in Spanish), which, among other drafts on the subject, were discussed in the committee of the Chamber of Deputies, and awaits its treatment in the plenary of that Chamber.

- The interagency project Strengthening Inclusive and Integrated Urban Planning and Sustainable Public Works Management in Neuquén - UN Women - UN Habitat – UNOPS promotes the coordination mandate of UN Women for the incorporation of gender perspective into the United Nations System. Likewise, this project demonstrates the sustainability of the strategy, as its realization stems from the work previously carried out within the framework of the interagency project with UNOPS and the Ministry of Public Works.
