By 2029, populations, especially the most vulnerable, have better access to quality and sustainable basic social services, inclusive social protection, and are more resilient towards strengthening the social contract.
Support for the process of adopting the proposed law on the protection of women and other domestic violence through national partners in the context of the citizen legislative hearing on the proposed law on the prevention of domestic violence in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Major results to date: ? A citizen position paper—an advocacy argument developed by women's networks and civil society organizations—has been finalized, validated, and sent to the bill's sponsor. ? Civil society platforms have organized themselves and appointed twelve advocates to participate, on a rotating basis, in parliamentary committee work to support the amendments already adopted by consensus. The appointment of the FFC platform as the official signatory of the cover letter was hailed as an exercise in internal democracy. ? The Second Vice-President of the Senate received the delegation and expressed his appreciation for UN Women's continued support for this process.
