Outcome progress note for the year

UN-Women effectively leverages and expands its partnerships, communications and advocacy capabilities to increase support for and financing of the gender equality agenda, while securing sustainable resourcing for the delivery of its own mandate

Amid a contraction in international cooperation—including the U.S. withdrawal impacting migration/EVAW and downsizing on the Caribbean Coast—the CO revised downward SN 2025–2028 projections and elevated resource mobilization . A 2025 RM Task Force advanced donor diversification, multi-annual agreements, pipeline monitoring, and HQ/RO/national coordination— securing agreements (WPHF, RC Office, Pasto Mayor’s Office, EOSG, Spain, Catalonia, Austria, UK, Regional Autonomous Corporation of Cauca (CRC), etc.), maintaining disbursements , and expanding the pipeline (Canada, Swiss Cooperation, National Registry, Peace Agreement Unit, MPTF for Peace). Results-based communications strengthened visibility, accountability, and partner recognition: generated 376 media mentions across national/territorial outlets and the national website ( est. ROI > COP 3.6M ), with differentiated portfolio visibility ( Norway 27; Sweden 77; Sweden-MPS 17; Canada 65; Switzerland 13; Core/UNiTE 160; national website 17 ). With only a 2% posting increase (500→510), digital KPIs improved: +13% reach (> 2.2M impressions ), +28.6% shares , and a consolidated community of 172,406 followers —evidence of stronger audience ownership and partner-aligned amplification.
