The Office carried out close follow-up and monitoring of the processes associated with HR and finances in order to achieve the objectives programmed for the year 2021, incorporating a realignment associated with the COVID 19 emergency, complying with the policies of the PPG, giving a response of virtual way. Additionally, a systematization of labor certifications has been carried out, as well as the automation of requests for renewal of contracts that allow improving processes and having greater control, support and follow-up of requests. UNW Colombia has had during the year 2021 a management with its main donors that have allowed a collection of funds (revenues) equivalent to US 7,461,495

Corporate communications strategy was implemented as per plan of the year. The CO continued to launch digital initiatives to ensure collection and dissemination of stories (17 life stories on the UN Women website in Colombia (https://colombia.unwomen.org/es/digiteca/videos); +60 pieces in various formats on digital platforms, reaching 25.2 thousand followers on Instagram and 33 thousand on Twitter during this period. Facebook was reactivated as the appropriate platform for the development of events). On the CSAC, its composition was partiallly renewed as per plan. On resource mobilization, the agency has built and implemented a multi-year country strategy for resource mobilization with significant results in terms of new key multiyear agreements and with donors’ portfolio even more diversified. In particular, in 2021, results included new multiyear joint programmes (i.e. new agreement with Koica, new project funded by the UNPRPD and PBF GYPI approval). Also, the CO has achieved the approval of the extension and additional funding of the non-earmarked support to the SN by Sweden (https://colombia.unwomen.org/es/noticias-y-eventos/articulos/2021/12/suecia-reafirma-compromiso-igualdad-de-genero), of the project on migration funded by the U.S. Department of State, the agreement with Norway and CERF project, among others. Moreover, the CO continued to mobilize national and local resources, starting from Nariño departmental government and Pasto Mayor’s Office, to agreements with new entities (Cauca departmental government and Bogotá Mayor’s Office). To conclude, the CO signed agreements with new bilateral donors (e.g. Austria).
