    Outcome insights and achievements

Outcome progress note for the year

    Advancing business transformation

The 2023 OEE indicator target is that 70% of COs meet typology requirements (revenue and non-core implementation). In ESA region, 7 of the 13 Country Offices have met this target. Resource Mobilization efforts continue across the region and will target non-traditional donors, including IFIs.

    Advancing business transformation

All non core projects suppport cost has been charged inline with corporate cost recovery policy. However there is challenge in qunatum (unable to charge automaticaly support cost), therefore RO supported COs to process support cost manualy.

    Advancing business transformation

With the introduction of the new cost-recovery policy, greater emphasis was made on ensuring that new project proposal contain adequate DPC/DPMC provisions and where 100% coverage for positions can not be met by donors, then a cost-share on the positions. Key agreement negotiations included in the AFDB Sudan and Somalia proposals, the Somalia WPP proposal and the revised Output Agreement with the Government of South Sudan on the SSWSEEP project
