World Bank Income Classification:Low Income
The World Bank classifies economies for analytical purposes into four income groups: low, lower-middle, upper-middle, and high income. For this purpose it uses gross national income (GNI) per capita data in U.S. dollars, converted from local currency using the World Bank Atlas method, which is applied to smooth exchange rate fluctuations.

Under this outcome, UN Women through a set of key interlinked outputs and activities was able to successfully support the advancement of key priorities for women and girls, specifically relating to Gender Based Violence and Women’s Political Participation. This included supporting national women machineries at both the local and federal level to ensure advancements on both fronts. This included supporting female aspirants who are looking to run for elections, as well as consensus building on a political participation work plan for women, while also supporting enhancing pathways for support to women and girls survivors of GBV.Disclaimer and notes
