Enhanced coordination, coherence and accountability of the UN system for commitments to gender equality and women's empowerment

UNCT validated the Gender Mainstreaming Strategy and it is now incorporated in the draft GTG annual workplan 2022. The One UN celebration of the 16 days of activism against GBV was effective and quite successful, One UN celebration was organized on the 26 th November under the auspice of the Resident Coordinator and many head of agencies and kye guest speakers for Civil society organizations. The UN also supported the Government of Liberia for the organization of the 16 days of activism throughout the country.

UN-Women is an accountable and trustworthy development organization that manages its financial and other resources with integrity and in line with its programmatic ambitions and fiduciary obligations.

The CO delivery as at reporting period is 88 %. In addition, the Country has minimal aging reports with partners and have been largely cleared by audit reports. Partner audit ratings are largely satisfactory.
