Improved management of financial and human resources in pursuit of results
Planned 2021 Recruitment have been completed - 2022 plan drafted and included in AWP 2022-2023. Good respect of accountability measures - Office Risks assessment conducted and reviewed on time. 2021 Office Risk Registers prepared and uploaded on the SharePoint. Mid-year review processed. 2022 Risk register prepared. 2020 NIM partners audit recommendations implemented as required.

The UN Women Liberia office has been able to fill the strategic positions in 2024 such as Planning and Reporting Analyst (P2), Partnership and Coordination Specialist (P3) and two support level positions, Admin Associate (FTA G6) and Procurement Associate (FTA G7) are in the final stage of recruitment. The CO is also in the process to recruit a National UNV for the sub-office in Zwedru but initially the position will be based at the country office and once the sub-office is officially open, the staff will be transferred there.

The UN Women Liberia office has been able to fill the strategic positions in 2025, such as EVAW Programme Specialist (P3) on a Temporary Appointment, Partnership and Coordination Analyst (IUNV), one support level positions, Procurement Associate (FTA G7). The CO also realigned its organizational structure to ensure compliance with corporate standards and enhance operational efficiency. As part of preparing the new Strategic Note (SN) 2026–2030 for the Liberia Country Office, the CO has restructured and is now classified as a medium office. With this new SN, staffing levels were adjusted from 42 to 27 roles, based on organizational priorities, available funding, and resource mobilization. A revised organogram was created to represent these changes and affirm the office’s medium-sized status.

UN Women LCO had been able to integrate inclusion of young people 4 female and 1 male in programme and operations portfolios. In addition LCO has recruited based on geographic and religious diversity.

The UN Women Liberia office has been able to fill the positions recorded in the 2022 recruitment planning including Project Management Specialist, M&E Specialist, Project and and partnership analyst, some of these positions turned to be vacant during the year. The office has also been able to launch the recruitment for three posts granted by HQ to reinforce the team. This includes 1 Partnership and Coordination Specialist TA P3 staff- 1 Planning and Reporting officer TA P2 and 1 Economist Feminist NOC. UN Women LCO has been able to integrate the inclusion of 3 international staff 2 female and 1 male, i.e. Project Specialist, a Monitoring, Evaluation, and Knowledge Management Specialist, and a Project and Partnership Analyst.
