Nurturing an empowered Workforce and advancing an inclusive UN Women culture

The Output cluster is considered achieved since staff wellbeing remained of outmost imporrtance, as well as quality assurance for teh results, timely deliveray and positive image of UN Women. The team was supported to learn and grow in their positions. An alternate has been assigned to everyone, to ensure peer to peer support but also business continuity during absences. learning and exchange opportunities supported by the HoO, detailed assignment and missions as well. Regular feedback has been provided.

Effective normative, programmatic and coordination products, services and processes

The Output cluster is considered achieved as UN Women developed effective normative, programmatic, and coordination products and lead processes in the reporting period, and targets achieved. In the reporting period, UN Women maintained very visible focus on gender equality and wome's empowerementthrough various discussions and events. The Office produced and/or contributed to various knowledge products and visibility materials, such as sectoral gap analysis, research products - mapping of those left behind, Common Country Analyses and similar. The Head of Office co-chairs the Human Rights/Gender Thematic Group with eth OHCHR. UN Country Team and the Resident Coordinator and her Office in North Macedonia, receive regular guidence/inputs from UN Women, to encourage gender mainstreaming through various processes including joint WPs, UNCT SWAP Gender Equality Scorecard and similar. UN women organized Retreat for the GTG with support by the RC. Beside it's programmatic work in various portfolios, UN Women initiated under its core programmatic/normative functions, joint work on women in diplomacy with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in partnership with the French Embasy and teh French MFA. This resulted North Macedonia to be selected as one of the 12 countries worldwide, for the possibility to receive a French Expert, posteed in UN Women Office and funded by France. National MFA committed to annual marking of the UN DAy on Women in Diplomacy and will work on gender parity and revision of teh curricula of teh Diplomacy Academy.
