The CO accomplishes with all the needed requirements to count with effective and transparent management system by addressing the audit recommendations given. The Office also works closely with partners to foster their improvement according to these recommendations as well. The updated IFC works as and important guide to the daily duties of the team. The UN Security Standards are fully met since COVID outbreak. The close follow up of the COVID measures among the team have preserved the security of the team and the daily duties. IT risk are constantly warned to the team and have been avoided thanks to trainings and continuous communication among the team of the CO.

CO transparency and continuous improvement is ensured by implementation of all audit observations which are closed in TeamMate Platform and actions properly taken. Timely updates that reinforce governance standards and drive sustainable operational excellence are ensured by the immplementation of a strategic advance on the Internal Control Framework (ICF) within OneApp. CO improvements in staff safety and operational objectives are properly supported through proactive monitoring and continuously optimized UN Security Standards. Maintenance and continuous improvement of premises and office conditions are on track. UN Security Standards are on track and a continuos improvement are implemented. BCCMA compliance is up to dated Monitoring of partner and internal audit recommendations are concluded and actions in the system done. Internal Control Framework was correctly implemented and regularly updated. Segregation of functions are closely monitored by approvers and requesters. Office is fully compliant with UN security standards. Security and Safety Compliance, in up to 96% and certification made in the system

Monitoring of partner and internal audit recommendations are being implemented, and follow-up is ongoing to comply with internal action. Internal Control Framework was implemented and regularly updated in OneApp. Office is compliant with UN security standards and compliant 100% in BCCMA platform. UN Security Standards are on track and a continuos improvement are implemented.

UN Women Country Office in Mexico´s standards of security wre fully, thanks to the implementation of information security standards and training activities. The staff knows how to promote security of institutional information. During 2022, 7 of UN Women partners in Mexico had an audit exercise; financial and control recommendations were given to 4 of them, and follow-up activities were planned and implemented. This year a training on Internal Control Framework (ICF) to reinforce knowledge of this topic and effective ways to apply this framework. UN Security Standards were on track during 2022, thanks to collaboration with Department of Safety and Security (UNDSS) in Mexico.
