

By 2027, the people in Nigeria have access to a more accountable, transparent, gender-responsive, and inclusive governance and justice system for the realization of human rights for all especially the most vulnerable population
Relevant government institutions at the federal, state and local government level are strengthened to reform/develop, implement and monitor evidence-based gender-responsive laws, policies, plans and budgets to advance inclusive governance and access to justice in Nigeria
Justice sector institutions (both formal and informal systems) are strengthened to deliver quality gender-responsive services and enforce the human rights of women and girls, including those in conflict-affected communities in accordance with international gender equality standards.
Relevant government institutions and civil society organizations, including Women’s Rights Organizations, movements and networks, and other stakeholders have strengthened capacity to monitor and report on the implementation accountability frameworks for inclusive, gender-responsive good governance including meeting the commitments on gender equality and the empowerment of women in service delivery
By 2027 all people living in Nigeria, especially women, youth, persons with disabilities, and other vulnerable groups, have improved access to job opportunities driven by digitization, skills development, and entrepreneurship to harness the demographic dividend
Women’s organizations and movements, the private sector and trade unions are mobilized and coordinated to tackle discriminatory social norms, practices and legislation that limit women’s ability to have decent work and income security
Women entrepreneurs have increased access to business development support (services, goods and resources), and markets, including public sector procurement and private sector supply-chains through capacity strengthening and advocacy.
More women have increased skills and knowledge to participate in the labour market on equal terms with men, and to influence intrahousehold decision on division of labour.
Relevant Government and Civil society Organizations are equipped to transform the care economy by strengthening and implementing the 5Rs: recognize, reduce, redistribute unpaid care and domestic work, and reward and represent care workers
By 2027, Nigeria benefits from improved food security and nutrition, sustainable food systems, and natural resources management
SN Output 2.1: Women farmer-organizations /cooperatives have improved access to land and productive resources for climate-resilient agriculture, strengthened capacities to improve their participation in and benefits from green value-chains through better access to financing, insurance, infrastructure, and markets (including the digitally assisted)
By 2027, all people living in Nigeria have improved social protection coverage that is inclusive, gender-responsive, and shock-responsive, including social assistance, social insurance, and labour market interventions
The capacities of institutions responsible for social protection will be strengthened to mainstream gender into the Nigerian Social Protection policy
Capacities of relevant government institutions and other actors at national and sub-national levels are strengthened to reform/develop, implement, and coordinate gender-responsive social protection policies and strategies.
By 2027, people in Nigeria, especially the most vulnerable, benefit from peace and security, and protection from conflict, violence, and crime through strengthening capacity and infrastructures.
Relevant government institutions and UN system are strengthened to deliver on the Women, Peace, and Security (WPS) Commitments through the development and coordinated implementation of a well-resourced National Action Plan (NAP) and State Action Plans (SAP) on UNSCR 1325.
Women, in their diversity, have increased capacity to meaningfully participate and lead in peace and security in peace and security, and humanitarian/DRR response and recovery processes including the decision-making
