The CO implemented RBM during implementation to ensure activities were aligned to set targets with the donor and limited diversion from the initial workplan with the funding partners.
The CO continued to engage with various funding partners for resources for the SN such as Peacebuilding Fund, Norway, Canada and African Development Bank, Japan. The funding gap was reduced significately after the CO was awarded the Norway funding of NOK 40 million to the SN.
staff in the CO were exposed to various opportunities to learn skills to improve the delivery of the CO. the SMT and team continued to be intentional in developing strategies as well as engaging with the UNCT.
The country office recruits its national and international workforce based on competitive competition to ensure highly performing staff are recruited. In some occasions, short-term consultants were recruited on a direct contracting but due diligence was followed to ensure the consultant was of high quality and his/her credentials were matching with the expected deliveries.
