    Business Transformation

During the reporting period, the "Aligning Local Financing for SDGs" project successfully facilitated 1 cross-regional knowledge exchange initiative, aimed at promoting innovative practices and strengthening SDG localization efforts. Specifically, the project organized a study visit to Malaysia for 10 high-level state officials from Tajikistan, including representatives from the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Economy and Trade Development, and local authorities from Bokhtar and Khuroson. The study visit allowed Tajikistan's officials to gain valuable insights into Malaysia's successful models of decentralization, participatory governance, and advanced budgeting practices, with a focus on SDG localization. The knowledge exchange promoted the adoption of innovative ways of working, particularly in terms of integrating SDGs into local governance and fiscal management processes. The study visit contributed to the strengthening of policy frameworks and institutional capacities in Tajikistan, fostering cross-regional collaboration to support SDG implementation. https://www.facebook.com/uniceftajikistan/posts/study-field-trip-to-Malaysia-un-women-tajikistan
