    UN-Women is an accountable and trustworthy development organization that manages its financial and other resources with integrity and in line with its programmatic ambitions and fiduciary obligations

    The strongest evidence that the UN Women Ukraine Country has been managing its resources with integrity is the 2025 IAS Audit report, which gave an overall Satisfactory rating to the Ukraine CO, meaning that the office’s assessed governance arrangements, risk management practices, and controls were functioning well. The issues that the auditors identified are “unlikely to affect the achievement of the objectives” of the CO. The auditors further wrote: “The Country Office has a dedicated, professional and diverse workforce who are committed to achieving together the organization’s objectives, while working in adverse conditions where supporting staff well-being and security has been prioritized.” The auditors also acknowledged these achievements and good practices by the CO: a dedicated,professional and diverse workforce who are committed to achieving together the organization’s objectives, while working in adverse conditions where supporting staff well-being and security has been prioritized. a well-structured draft Strategic Note for 2025-2029 with clear outcomes,outputs and activities. a robust Resource Mobilization Strategy to support the new Strategic Note,with strong non-core resource mobilization results. The auditors made five recommendations for the CO to address certain areas for improvement, all of which are ranked as medium priority. All in all, the audit report demonstrates that the Ukraine CO is an accountable and trustworthy organization.
