Advancing partnership and resourcing

In the reporting year, UN Women in North Macedonia maintained and expanded its partnerships in support of its mandate, engaging with the national governmental institutions, diplomatic corps, women’s civil society organizations. To name a few: Honorary Consulate of Canada of the Republic of North Macedonia Embassy of Italy of the Republic of North Macedonia Embassy of Switzerland of the Republic of North Macedonia Embassy of France of the Republic of North Macedonia Embassy of Sweden of the Republic of North Macedonia British Embassy Skopje EU Delegation in North Macedonia SIDA SDC Ministry of European Integration Ministry of Social Policy, Demography and Youth Ministry of Agriculture Ministry of Defense Ministry of Health State Audit Office of the Republic of North Macedonia Statistical Office of the Republic of North Macedonia The Office remained visible and active with media reach out, FB posts, public campaigns, interviews with the Head of Office.

Advancing partnership and resourcing

Partnerships nourished (Sweden, Switzerland, EU) and new ones established (Spain, Japan, Italy). Although the Office has secured recources until March 2027, resource mobilization remains high priority and is guiding focus of the Office.
