Outcome progress note for the year
UN Women efficiently and effectively discharges of all business processes that advance integrated delivery of its normative, operational and coordination mandate at HQ, Regional and Country level, including through shared services.
In 2025, UN Women Yemen strengthened its operational performance through the implementation of a comprehensive MERP, improved results-based reporting systems, and effective administrative, financial, and logistical management. Recruitment of key operational personnel, notably a Finance Associate, enhanced compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in financial processing. Close collaboration with ROAS and HQ ensured alignment with global standards, while shared premises and systems facilitated smooth delivery of normative, coordination, and programmatic functions. These improvements enabled streamlined business processes and stronger integrated delivery of UN Women’s mandate across Yemen.
