The country office is contributing through its actions to the generation of more peaceful and safe environments for women, in which the voice and leadership of women and women's organizations are recognized for their role in peacebuilding, as well as the important role they play in humanitarian action. With the implementation of the Women Guardians of Peace project, we are contributing to the incorporation of the gender approach in transitional justice actions, supporting the rescue of the historical memory of the women's movement and women leaders at the community level, and in the actions for the implementation of the 2nd National Action Plan of Resolution 1325. This work is reinforced by maintaining spaces for dialogue with women's organizations in the search for minimum consensus based on contextual analysis. In addition, the country office has initiated work to follow up on UN Women's Global Humanitarian Strategy through capacity building on gender in humanitarian action.Disclaimer and notes
