In total $140,499.00 contributions received from inter-agency pooled funding the reporting year: World Food Programme (WFP) - 72,499 Unified Budget, Results and Accountability Framework (UBRAF) - $ 68,000 UN Women engaged to agreement with WFP office in Tajikistan through the joint project on building capacities of WFP staff and technical partners for enhanced inclusive and gender-transformative programming ensuring the sustainability of interventions. Launched every year, the Joint Programme reporting exercise is an essential element of accountability and an opportunity to showcase UNAIDS’ added value by documenting its most significant collective results as well as the individual results of the Cosponsors and the Secretariat as contributions to ending AIDS as a public health threat by 2030. Through UBRAF performance monitoring and reporting processes, the Joint Programme identifies challenges and lessons learned, and performance findings inform adaptation and prioritization in the Joint Programme’s workplans and budgets, to address the needs of countries and communities. The Country office strategically focused on existing effective partnerships with the Government of Tajikistan, resulting to the siging f the Joint Work Plan between UN Women and the Committee on Women and Family Affairs.

During the reporting year, UN Women Tajikistan advanced strategic partnerships and leveraged inter-agency pooled funding to strengthen national capacities for gender equality. Through the SDG Fund , UN Women participated in the Aligning Local Financing for SDGs Joint Programme with UNICEF (2024–2025) , receiving USD 100,000 . The majority of these resources were utilized in 2025, with USD 86,000 spent compared to USD 14,000 in 2024. The funding supported national and sub-national partners, including the Ministry of Finance and local authorities, to apply Gender Responsive Budgeting (GRB) tools , localize the SDGs, and integrate gender perspectives into planning, budgeting, and resource allocation processes. This contribution exemplifies UN Women’s approach to mobilizing pooled resources, fostering partnerships across UN agencies, government, and civil society, and ensuring coordinated, sustainable investments in gender equality.
