    Effective normative, programmatic and coordination products, services and processes

    The CO continues regular monitoring of all AWP activities across all outcomes via field visits, staff meetings, coordination meetings with responsible parties, quarterly and annual reporting on SN implementation in the RMS and updates to the tracking tool for grass-roots women and social mobilization beneficiaries. The final evaluation for the UN Joint Programme “Transforming Social Protection for Persons with Disabilities in Georgia” was finalized in the third quarter, and the final evaluation for the “Good Governance for Gender Equality in Georgia” project has been initiated. Moreover, during the reporting period, the CO participated in two evaluation initiatives implemented by the ECA RO and HQ: (1) Regional Evaluation of UN Women’s Support for Capacity Development of Partners to Respond to the Needs of Women and Girls in Europe and Central Asia; and (2) Corporate Evaluation of UN Women’s Contribution to Women’s Economic Empowerment by Advancing Gender-Responsive Laws, Frameworks, Policies and Partnerships. In 2022, the CO supported 17 research activities and completed 15. The CO has further prepared and submitted 17 donor reports all in time (16 were due in 2022 and one was due in January 2023). All donor reports have been uploaded to DAMS before the deadlines. The CO remains in Tier I when it comes to donor reporting, with a 100 per cent compliance rate for donor reporting obligations.

    Effective normative, programmatic and coordination products, services and processes

    The implementation of this result is on track. The CO continued to offer high quality accountability and effective programmatic products, services, and processes; The CO continues regular monitoring of all AWP activities across all outcomes via field visits, staff meetings, coordination meetings with responsible parties, quarterly and annual reporting on SN implementation in the RMS and up-date of grassroots women / social mobilization beneficiaries tracking tool. The final external evaluation of Norway funded cost-share project Good Governance for Gender Equality in Georgia (GG4GEG) was finalized along with its Management Response and the final external evaluation for the Ending Violence Against Women and Girls in Georgia project has been also finalized. During the reporting period, the CO also participated in the HQ initiated in three corporate evaluations (Regional evaluation of UN Women’s support (1) for capacity development of partners, (2) for gender statistics (3) Women’s economic empowerment. In 2023 the CO completed 15 and supported additional 10 studies that are to end in 2024. For the purposes of systematizing data collection and monitoring processes across UN Women Georgia CO, UN Women has introduced a special monitoring software, low-code custom application– Zoho Creator (www.zoho.com/creator). This platform was identified after a market review of suitable technical solutions, consultations with FAO counterparts, and analysis of value for money and cost effectiveness, conducted during the reporting period. In 2023 UN Women has completed transfer of monitoring data from existing monitoring tools into Zoho Creator for systematic and continuous monitoring of project data through this application; the full operationalization of Zoho is planned in 2024. In 2023 the CO prepared and submitted 19 donor reports, all in time. All donor reports have been uploaded to DAMS before the deadlines. The CO remains in Tier I when it comes to donor reporting, with a 100 per cent compliance rate for donor reporting obligations.

In 2024 the CO supported 21 research activities, among which the following 17 studies have been completed: (1) Women in Foreign Policy and Diplomacy in Georgia; (2) Women at the Forefront: Addressing Climate Challenges in Conflict Affected Regions; (3) Enhancing Gender Equality in Georgia's Path to EU Accession. (4) Insights from Croatia, Slovenia and Latvia; Capacity and needs assessment of CSOs working on GEWE in Georgia; (5) Country gender equality profile of Georgia, 2023; (5) Gender Equality Attitudes Survey; (6) BPfA+30 National Review; (7) Desk review report on integrating the GIA into the policy planning cycle; (8) Gender Impact Assessment (GIA) on National Gender Strategy in Armenia; (9) Process Evaluation of Rural Development Agency (RDA) Pilot Programme for Women. (10) Building satellite account on household production in Georgia; (11) Brief on VAW related legislation and services; (12) Brief on women in decision making; (13) Brief on women’s economic empowerment; (14) Invisible Hands: Formalization of Domestic Work in Georgia; (15) Brief on Women, Peace and Security; (16) Participatory Gender Audit (PGA) of the LEPL David Aghmashenebeli National Defence Academy of Georgia; (17) Transition process: Advancing Gender equality, Refugee Integration and Social Cohesion in Armenia; The following 12 studies are ongoing and will be finalized in 2025: (1) Study on violence against women in Politics (II wave- candidates survey), (2) Estimating economic and non-economic costs of VAW in Georgia; (3) A policy paper on national mechanisms preventing violence against women in politics (VAWP) in Georgia; (4) Study on domestic workers in Armenia; (5) Study on sexual harassment in the private sector; (6) Enhanced Maternity, Paternity and Parental Leave and Benefits; (7) A policy paper on national mechanisms preventing violence against women in politics (VAWP) in Georgia; (8) Environmentally friendly agriculture: challenges and opportunities for small-holder/small-scale women farmers in Georgia; (9) From Penalty to Empowerment: Tackling Gender Bias in Care Work; (10) Assessment of the work of witness’s and victims’ coordinators working at MIA and Prosecutor's Office in relation to the rights of VAW/DV victims/survivors; (11) RIA on ILO Convention No.189 in Armenia; (12) From Bias to Breach: How AI-Driven Stereotypes Endanger Women’s Security Altogether, in 2024 the CO delivered 21 donor reports and re-shared 6 certified financial reports developed by HQ, without any delay, with all of them uploaded into DAMS in due time.
