In 2025, UN Women Côte d’Ivoire strengthened its position as a responsible and trustworthy development organization, managing its financial and operational resources with integrity and in alignment with its programmatic ambitions and fiduciary obligations. The Country Office consolidated financial and operational management practices through targeted staff capacity building actions, the optimization of programmatic mechanisms, and improvements in reporting quality and compliance with organizational standards. The strategic evaluations conducted, including the assessment of the 2021–2025 Strategic Note, generated evidence on the relevance, efficiency, effectiveness, and sustainability of interventions, while providing strategic recommendations for the next programmatic cycle. In addition, strengthened communication capacities and systems enhanced the reach and coherence of advocacy efforts, improved the visibility of gender equality issues, and fostered stakeholder engagement.

UN Women Côte d'Ivoire continues to build the capacity of its staff to remain a responsible and trusted development organization that manages its financial and other resources with integrity, in line with its programmatic ambitions and fiduciary obligations. The organization's financial management is based on principles of transparency and accountability, ensuring that funds are used effectively and efficiently to achieve development objectives. Financial statements are prepared and presented fairly, in accordance with International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS), and are subject to regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance. The office was audited in 2022, with recommendations to improve resource management and ensure optimal use of funds, while respecting deadlines and donor requirements.
