UN Women Côte d'Ivoire continues to build the capacity of its staff to remain a responsible and trusted development organization that manages its financial and other resources with integrity, in line with its programmatic ambitions and fiduciary obligations. The organization's financial management is based on principles of transparency and accountability, ensuring that funds are used effectively and efficiently to achieve development objectives. Financial statements are prepared and presented fairly, in accordance with International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS), and are subject to regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance. The office was audited in 2022, with recommendations to improve resource management and ensure optimal use of funds, while respecting deadlines and donor requirements.
