In 2025, UN Women Côte d’Ivoire enhanced its ability to mobilize support for the gender equality agenda through a diversified partnership strategy and strengthened institutional communication. The office successfully established and expanded strategic alliances with the private sector, academic institutions, philanthropic foundations, and the media, generating tangible impacts in economic empowerment and social transformation. These partnerships amplified the reach of initiatives and anchored gender equality as a shared national priority. Visibility of interventions and results was significantly increased through a systematic, impact oriented communication strategy that showcased contributions from donors and institutional partners and reinforced the office’s legitimacy among stakeholders. The dissemination of knowledge products—such as the Country Gender Profile and thematic studies—facilitated stronger ownership of results by policymakers and technical partners, contributing to public policy guidance and national advocacy. In response to limited financial resources, the resource mobilization strategy shifted toward new and diversified financing opportunities, particularly with international financial institutions and specialized funds, while strengthening internal capacities to improve efficiency and rigor in partnership management and proposal development.
