Outcome progress note for the year

UN-Women strategically plans for and transforms its business model to deliver impact at scale, through agile and ethical leadership rooted in a continuous improvement culture

In 2025, UN Women Yemen advanced its business model transformation by operating as an independent Country Office following the de-clustering of the Iraq–Yemen configuration, enabling more agile, context-responsive operations. The office strengthened cross-regional learning, integrated RBM systems through MERP rollout, and improved planning coherence through a strategic planning retreat that aligned teams across Aden, Sana’a, and Amman. Engagement with ROAS and HQ on business processes, reporting, and SWAP Scorecard methodology further enhanced organizational adaptability and fostered a culture of continuous learning and ethical leadership.
